Distribution of a first draft of the 2024 revised version of the Trust Policy Statement has been delayed because First Nations needed more time to review it. The Trust has provided funding to eight First Nations to conduct this review.
The first public version of the 2024 Draft Trust Policy Statement will go to the Trust Executive Committee. Friends of the Gulf Islands are monitoring this committee to obtain this draft. When the draft is available, we will review it and report on the content to our members.
