Do you have specific experience?
Inform us of opportunities for Opinions/Commentaries and letters to editors and recruit writers from among Board Members. As directed by the Board of Directors, set up interviews with newspapers, radio stations, and so on. We’re always looking to publicize our organization and activities.
Do you post regularly to social media? You could help us by posting to social media about a current action, activity or educational program. We would send you the text to post.
You could help run our educational seminars as a Zoom webinar.
You could take photos of island locales for our website or other publications as directed.
Other ways to participate…
Write to the Trust Council, Ministers, or your local trust committee. Our monthly newsletters will often outline a current campaign, what to write, and who to write to.
Can you speak at a Trust Council meeting? We will let you know in advance what topic we’ll be covering at each meeting.
Hold a banner outside a Trust Council or local trust committee meeting to draw attention to our campaign. Trust Council meets quarterly. Below are the meeting dates and times for 2024:
- March 12-14
- June 18-20
- September 24-26
- December 3-5
Talk to your friends and neighbours about our organization and encourage them to join.
Distribute newsletters and flyers on your island.
